ABOUT THE ARTIST

Grace Wilmshurst is an oil painter and teacher living and working in the Southdowns, UK. Her canvases are atmospheric snapshots, depicting a fascinating, almost sinister beauty of the countryside. Grace’s oil paintings draw influence from her rural childhood memories. Her current body of work explores the current undertones between agriculture and nature and has been exhibited in RA Summer Exhibiton's, London, Brighton and Cornwall.

Predominantly known for her oil painting, Grace is now creating original giclees: limited edition, hand finished prints translated from her original oil canvases. As an experienced art teacher, having worked in schools and private settings, Grace runs creative workshops and week-long summer schools.
